Previously known as Northbound, NORTHCODE was formed in 2019 by a group of young and talented musicians from the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in Ontario, Canada. With heartfelt lyrics and catchy tunes, these upcoming musicians propose a refreshing take on rock.

In 2020, the band released four singles: Unstoppable, Silently, Something in the Dark and No Permission. These energetic and dynamic songs take elements of classic rock and give them a modern twist. With powerful vocals and epic guitar solos, they’ll have you rockin’ in no time!

As a native Burlington band, NORTHCODE was selected as one of the city's most up-and-coming artists by the 2019 Emerging Artists Showcase held by Canada's Largest Ribfest, where they were invited to perform. These passionate musicians also had the chance to play at Sound of Music Festival 2019 in Burlington, It's Your Festival 2019 in Hamilton and Midnight Madness Festival 2019 in Oakville. ​
